Cadette Troop 3068 completes Journey aMaze
published May. 11, 2012
San Jacinto Girl Scout Cadette Troop 3068 of Katy recently completed a "Friendship Fair."
According to a press release, the Friendship Fair was a part of the Journey aMaze task the Girl Scouts participated in, which required them to plan and carry out a project to serve others.
The Friendship Fair featured skits, crafts and games that focused on the highs and lows of friendship, according to the press release.
The main lesson taught at the fair was to teach young girls to T-H-I-N-K before speaking, which meant Girl Scouts should think if what they are saying is true, helpful, inspiring, necessary and kind, according to the press release.
There were 40 junior Girl Scouts at the Friendship Fair.
