Taylor Barnett led her team in scoring with 34 points.
Second Baptist will next host Fort Bend Baptist on Thursday at 6 p.m.
The loss drops Pope John XXIII to 3-16 on the season and 1-7 in district play.
Nicole Johnson registered 20 points in the loss.
