Houston dessert boutique to host toy drive
Ooh La La Dessert Boutique will hold its annual “Sweetening the Lives of Others” toy drive through Thursday, Dec. 15.
The program benefits less-fortunate children by gifting brand-new toys. People are asked donate a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or greater. Toys must be in their original packaging, and toy guns and weapons are not accepted.
People can drop off a new toy at Ooh La La’s flagship location at 23920 Westheimer Parkway in Katy, or at its newest location at Town & Country Village, located at 770 W. Sam Houston Parkway N. in Houston. Those who donate a toy will be receive a free jumbo cupcake.
Toys will be given through the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program.
