Katy ISD elementary schools wraps up 'Read, Deed and Run' program
Katy ISD elementary schools will be holding a final end-of-the-year run to culminate the 25-week-long program "Read, Deed and Run." The program is for 4th and 5th graders, who aimed for a goal of reading 26 books or 2,600 pages, performing 26 deeds and running 26.2 miles.
Schools participating in the event include: Morton Ranch Elementary, Holland, Winborn, Rhoads, Wolfe, Hayes, Williams, and Exley. The last 1.2-mile run will begin 10 a.m. on May 19, at Cinco Ranch High School. The high school is at 23440 Cinco Ranch Blvd., in Katy.
