A laborer is suing a local company and a Katy man after he allegedly sustained serious injuries on a job site.

Victor N. Tobar filed a lawsuit on Friday, May 11 in the Harris County District Court against Stripe-A-Zone and Katy resident Damien Nobles, citing negligence.

Tobar says on Aug. 2, 2011, he suffered serious injuries while using a defective jackhammer provided to him by the defendants. The defendants are to blame because they allegedly failed to properly train supervisors and to properly maintain equipment, according to the brief.

Tobar is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Loren Klitsas.
