Katy Walmart named in slip-and-fall suit
A woman is suing Wal-Mart over claims it failed to offer customers a safe shopping environment at its Katy location.
Pamela Jefferson filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, May 16 in the Harris County District Court against Wal-Mart, citing negligence.
Jefferson says on April 13, she suffered serious bodily injuries when she slipped and fell while shopping at Walmart, located at 1313 N. Fry Road in Katy. The Walmart employees caused the accident by failing to clean up a liquid substance spilled in a store aisle, according to the brief.
Jefferson is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Stephen Boutros.
