Classic rock cover band Maximus to play Katy

The classic rock cover band Maximus, composed of boys ages 13-17, will perform on June 6 at Mo's Place, 21940 Kingsland Blvd., Katy.
Daniel Shudra, J.D. Pappas, Nathan Richardson and Cole Jongebloed comprise the band, which was voted as Houston's best cover band by Houston Rocks readers in 2011.
The group sets up its own sound and lights and plays more than three hours of classic rock hits.
