Alicia's Mexican Grille opens in Katy

Restaurateur David Herrera and family will be opening their fifth restaurant, the 8,800-square-foot Alicia's Mexican Grille, in Katy on Monday, June 11.

Alicia's Mexican Grille will open in Katy at 11 a.m. Monday, June 11.

The restaurant, which is the fifth to be opened by David Herrera and his family, will be located at 25725 Katy Freeway in Katy.

A grand opening celebration and cocktail reception to benefit The Brookwood Community will take place from 2-5 p.m. June 23. Tickets are $25 per person.

"The Brookwood Community is a wonderful organization," Herrera said in a press release. "They provide an educational environment that creates meaningful jobs, builds a sense of belonging and demands dignity and respect for adults with disabilities. My family and I are proud to support them and their efforts."
