Katy bar blamed for drunken-driving accident injuries
A Harris County man is suing a bar, with locations in Katy and Humble, after an alleged drunken driver caused an automobile accident.
Samuel Fischer filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, June 6 in the Harris County District Court against Coaches Sports Bar & Grill Katy and Coaches Sports Bar & Grill Humble, citing negligence.
Fischer says on June 15, 2010, he sustained serious injuries in an automobile accident on West Lake Houston and Kings Crossing, caused by drunken driver Nadia Luger. Prior to the accident, Coaches Sports Bar & Grill Humble allegedly overserved alcohol to an obviously intoxicated Luger and then allowed her to drive away from the premises, according to the brief.
