Katy Fiesta Mart named in slip-and-fall suit
A woman is suing over claims she sustained serious injuries while shopping at the Katy-area Fiesta Mart.
Juana Zamora filed a lawsuit on June 3 in the Harris County District Court against Fiesta Mart, citing negligence.
Zamora says on June 13, 2010, she fell in a slippery substance, left on the floor, while shopping at Fiesta Mart, located at 4330 Highway 6 N. in Katy. According to the brief, the accident could have been avoided if Fiesta Mart employees would have cleaned the floor or warned shoppers of the dangerous condition.
Zamora is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Ike Waobikeze.
