Mark Alan Nieberding and Lourdes Villegas Nieberding acquired a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 25318 Greenwell Springs Lane in Katy from Guoxing Wang and Jianying Kang on June 5.

Mark Nieberding has served as a reservoir engineer at BP. He formerly worked as a reserves manager at EXCO Resources Inc., vice president and senior petroleum engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton and a senior petroleum engineer at Gaffney, Cline & Associates.

He received his B.S. and M.S. in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa and his M.B.A. from The University of Texas-Dallas School of Management.
