Katy Youth Football's Bill Davis to attend Ohio Youth Summit
Bill Davis, Katy Youth Football's president, was selected to attend the 2012 NFL/USA Football Youth Summit in Ohio.
According to a press release, Davis will attend the summit July 18-19 in Canton, Ohio, and learn about different topics important to youth football.
Some of the topics covered at the summit include the importance of concussion treatment and prevention, proper helmet and equipment fitting, injury prevention, heat and hydration education, inspiring youth and high school football players and more.
The NFL/USA Football Youth Summit, conducted through support from the NFL Youth Football Fund, brings together approximately 200 youth and high school football coaches from each state and Washington, D.C., along with youth league commissioners, the press release stated.
Former NFL players who now coach high school football will also be in attendance at the summit.
