Katy runner completes Firecracker 4
David Gonzalez, of Katy, completed the Firecracker 4 road race with a time of 29:02 Wednesday, July 4 in Lake Jackson.
A total of 230 runners finished the 4-mile race, which started in Dunbar Park-Pavilion and passed along the neighborhoods of Lake Jackson and the Oyster Creek.
Xavier Jimenez was the men’s overall winner with a time of 21:22, and Lauren Smith was the women’s winner in 22:45.
