Dog group has wish list to help needy pups
The South Texas Animal Adoption Resource is seeking donations from the community.
The nonprofit organization has worked for 20 years to protect area animals and help them find loving homes. Through volunteers and loving foster homes, the group takes once-abused animals and helps them grow into healthy, trusting companions.
Donations being sought by the group include dog food, toys, metal food bowls, cyclone panel dog runs, metal buckets, garbage bags, gravel for driveways, cleaners and disinfectants, cedar shavings and paper towels. The group also accepts cash donations, which are used toward medical care of rescued animals.
All donations may be sent to P.O. Box 6575, Katy. For more information on how to help, visit www.staarnet.org.
