Katy church plans activities at Youth Warehouse
The CrossPoint Community Church youth ministry has Wednesday night events planned all summer long for junior high and high school students.
The activities will be held at the Youth Warehouse, located at 700 S. Westgreen Blvd. in Katy.
All events are from 6-9 p.m. with a cost of $5 per night.
CrossPoint was founded 15 years ago when pastor Bill Woolsey came to Katy to meet with several area families that were interested in starting a new church. Today, Woolsey leads the overall ministry of CrossPoint and keeps it focused on reaching beyond the walls of the church and into the Katy community, according to the press release.
Woolsey and his wife, Julie, met as camp counselors in 1981 and married three years later. Together, they have two sons, Timothy and Samuel, and a daughter, Abigail.
