Seven Lakes High School Band and Color Guard to hold March-A-Thon
The Seven Lakes High School Band and Color Guard gathers with local emergency service members in front of the school's field.
More than 300 students participating in Seven Lakes High School's March-A-Thon invite residents to join them in the event from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.
The Band and Color Guard says to bring the whole family for a parade and concert to raise funds for instruments, equipment, musical instruction, special events, scholarships and various programs.
The group will be marching through Westheimer Lakes, Cinco Ranch and Seven Meadows to end with a concert in Seven Meadows' Central Park at 7:30 p.m. Food and drink will be available for purchase in the park.
Cash donations of any amount will be accepted at any point during the march and several students will also be accepting pledges. Residents can also reserve a private concert in front of their home or for a group of neighbors on the website. Any donation receipt is available as well.
For more information or for private concert registry, visit slhsband.org or call 281-396-6000.
