Kickoff day scheduled for Sept. 9

A kickoff day event will be held Sunday, Sept. 9 at Living Word Lutheran Church in Katy.

The event, organized by the Living Word Lutheran Church, will run from 9-11 a.m. Admission is free.

At the kickoff celebration, there will be a moonwalk, snow cones, bungee run and obstacle course, and information will be provided on church's ministry programs.

Living Word Lutheran Church is located at 3700 S. Mason Road.
