Book club to meet at library
Three book clubs are available for readers of all interests at the Maud Smith Marks Branch Library.
The afternoon book club meets the second Thursday of the month. Their next meeting is 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 where they will be discussing "The Paris Wife," by Paula McLain.
The next meeting of the library's evening book club is 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 when they will discuss "Between, Georgia," by Joshilyn Jackson.
The library's final book club, called The Just Desserts mystery book club, meets the third Wednesday of the month. There next meeting is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 to discuss "Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor," by Stephanie Barron.
Anyone interested in joining one of the free book clubs are welcome to attend the next meeting. Extra copies of each book are available at the library, located at 1815 Westgreen Blvd., in Katy.
