Where are the lowest gas prices in Katy?

Gas prices in and around Katy were lower compared with the averages for Texas, Houston and the country as a whole for the week of Aug. 12, according to data from the price-tracking website Gasbuddy.com.   Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 66 gas stations in and around Katy. As of Saturday, Aug. 18, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Katy is $3.52 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.54, the Houston average at $3.53 and the nationwide average at $3.71.   The average gas price in Katy last week was $3.48 per gallon.   The least expensive gas price in Katy is reported to be $3.38 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a Gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Murphy USA, 6010 N. Fry Road.   Gasbuddy.com users reported the most expensive gas in the area at $3.65, which was being sold at Shell, 23255 Kingsland Blvd. and Chevron, 23307 Cinco Ranch Blvd.
