Seniors invited to attend brain repair lecture series

Seniors who would like to learn how to sharpen their memory and improve thinking skills are invited to attend a brain repair lecture series hosted by the Thomas A. Glazier Senior Education Center.

Dr. Louise Hayes will teach the series that will focus on improving memory and learning skills through brain repair exercises. Five lectures make up the series. Subjects and dates include emotional health from 1-3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17; restore movement from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 25; health and healing from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 19; balance and gait from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 6; and stop stress damage from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6.

All classes will be at Glazier Senior Education Center, located at 16600 Pine Forest Lane, in Houston. The series is open to all Harris County residents who are older than 55. Registration is required at the center with a Texas photo ID.
